Sara and Simeon | Wedding on the Amalfi Coast
We met Sara in the late morning of this beautiful sunny day at the Hotel Caruso in Ravello, a luxury 5* hotel created from a former 11th century palace set on cliffs beside the Amalfi Coast. After the preparations of the bride we moved on to the Ceremony that was set outdoor in the Gardens of the principessa di Piemonte, a lovely garden overlooking the coastline and sea. There was some beautiful music played by a classical violinist when the bride walked the aisle and met Simeon. The ceremony was very intimate and beautiful and at the end of ceremony a guitarist and mandolin player accompanied the couple down to the main piazza of Ravello where a nice toast was organized at the Cafè Calce. While guests were having some drinks in the Piazza bride and groom took a couple of minutes to be on their own with the photographer and had the chance to be photographed in some of the most beautiful spots of town. When they come back the whole group headed to the Hotel Caruso for the reception. The guitar and mandolin started playing lively music and guided the group to the venue. Sara had chosen as a flower theme, Peonies, which were in season in the month of June, and they were spectucular… wonderful light pink blush coloured peonies for the bride bouquet and bridesmaid bouquets. A lovely modern arrangement with pink peonies for table centerpiece was selected by the bride. The overall effect was simple yet refined… When guests arrived at Caruso they were amazed by the marvellous vistas of this fabulous hotel. Cocktails were held in the Olive garden, while dinner took place in the Wagner Garden. They had a wonderful outdoor reception overlooking the sea and enjoying the marvellous vistas of the Amalfi Coast. Cake cutting and dancing were organized by the pool. A special lighting effect was designed that matched perfectly with the pink color theme selected by the bride, and sofas and lanterns were set all around to create a fabulous and sophisticated atmosphere.
