Behind the scenes
ANGELO
In the team Angelo is the ‘balance factor’, reflective, accurate, he is the sage counsellor, always able to reassure and make people see things from another perspective. His personality is clearly reflected in his photography . His style is photojournalistic and contemporary, as well as traditional, he is discreet and unobtrusive, yet he sees everything! He always knows how to make the couple to relax and feel at ease and how to anticipate and capture situations that convey special feelings as tenderness and romance, all the intimate exchanges that represent the strong feelings the bride and groom have for one another. At the same time he loves shots that highlight all of those present and acknowledge the communal spirit of the celebration, rather than focusing only on the bride and groom. He is always ready to capture emotion when it happens and all those fun and unexpected moments that are just as central to the memories for the couple.
Sometimes he will simply let events take their course without interfering and capture the scene in all it’s authenticity but always with a distinctive style.

CARLO
Carlo is ‘the artist’, he is a versatile, unpredictable photographer with the extrordinary
ability to adapt to all kind of situations and get the best of each moment. He always knows how to make a couple feel at ease, how to make them laugh and release the tension in order to create a joyful and fun atmosphere, as well as a very intimate and romantic one. In his work he looks for humor and feeling but his prime focus is always the narration of the event through images. His works have the quality of true timelessness, photographs that look as though they could have been created yesterday or 50 years ago. They are elegant, intense, and authentic. Carlo has been a proud member of WPJA Wedding Photojournalistic Association since 2005. WPJA is an elite organization of 1000’s of photojournalists and wedding photographers from all around the world. In 2007 WPJA honoured him as Photographer of the Year. It is a great honour to be part of such an important organization and we are so proud of Carlo for his important awards and recognitions!

Hi everybody! My name is MICHELA…
Prior to moving to Tuscany and joining Carlo and Angelo’s Studio Arte Fotografica, I was working as a Wedding & Event Designer and Coordinator for the top Italian company in the wedding industry. I was reponsible for the consulting, event design, planning, and coordinating for couples coming from all over the world who wanted to get married in the most beautiful places in Italy. This is in fact how I first met Carlo and Angelo from Weddingphotos.it. In my work, I was collaborating with many photographers, but when I first saw their work I was so captured by the beauty of their images I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was the kind of enchantment you experience from works of art. I have always had a strong aesthetic sense and a deep passion for photography which I was practicing for the love of it and when I saw their photos and books I felt an intense desire to be part of that world, but at the time it was just a dream. Later on I started working with them every once in a while as an assistant photographer, taking time off from my full-time job. I started shooting weddings with them in Florence, Siena, all over Tuscany and other marvellous places like Venice, Positano, Rome and Portofino.
I was enjoying it thoroughly because they are real professionals and at the same time really fun guys! Finally when the time was right I made the decision to make my dream come true.
So here I am, I’ll be posting updates here quite often, about life in the studio and on location at weddings and events so that you can peer into this ‘back stage’ to get some of the flavour of Carlo and Angelo’s world here at Studio Arte Fotografica! And I will be more than happy to share thoughts and comments on photography, weddings in Italy, the ‘best, most awesomely incredible places’, etc. with you!
Thank you for letting me share with you, and I hope to meet you one day!

And this is CESARE (the supreme King of the studio)
