CARLO CARLETTI
Carlo Carletti was born in 1966 in Tuscany (Italy) where he lives and works. After important publications on Tuscan Landscape he focused his attention on Wedding Photography with special attention to a photojournalistic approach. Carlo has photographed numerous weddings throughout Italy and worldwide and his work has appeared in several prestigious magazines. In 2009 and 2006 The Wedding Photojournalistic Association (WPJA) names him “Photographer of the Year“. He is the only photographer in the world to have won this prize twice, the most representative international award in wedding photography. Carlo has been a proud member of WPJA since 2005. Throughout the years, he’s built a nice collection of award-winning images, and received numerous accolades for his work. In 2010 the international magazine JM – Just Married selects him among world’s five best international photographers and publishes a comprehensive article on his work. In the same year Best of Wedding Photography Association recognizes him with the “Lens & Light Honor”. In 2009 he was selected by the Italian publishing house DeAgostini as the most representative Italian photographer in wedding photojournalism for a tutorial interview published on DVD. In July 2008 KODAK Pro Magazine (USA edition) published an important interview on his work. In 2006 American PHOTO magazine published and awarded his ceremony photographs in the international ‘Images of the Year 2006’ contest. In 2005 the art and trends KULT magazine selected him among the 4 most important international photographers in wedding photography. He travels worldwide for top target wedding photo services. The spirit animating his work is the narration of the wedding as a story that participates in the intimate life of people, and is therefore unique, authentic and extraordinary.

ANGELO GOVERNI
Angelo Governi was born in 1966 in Tuscany (Italy) where he lives and works. In 1997 he founded with Carlo Carletti the photographic studio Arte Fotografica in Poggibonsi (Siena) specializing in wedding and event photography with a photojournalistic approach. Angelo travels all over Italy and Europe for top target weddings and events. In 1989 after his studies in Economics he discovered his passion for photography and dedicated himself to black and white photography exploring modern and old techniques of black and white printing in fine art photography. During his career with studio Arte Fotografica, Angelo covered several prominent assignments in advertising and architecture including Calvin Klein watches, Monte dei Paschi di Siena, Banca Toscana. Angelo’s editorial style caters to clients that prefer a spontaneous and unobtrusive approach to wedding photography but yet would still like some romantic and elegant portraiture. Angelo works tirelessly to make a complete record of the unfolding events portraying the atmosphere, lighting and ambiance of that day. He incorporates his fine art photography background into creating images full of emotion.

MICHELA DEL FORNO
Michela was born in 1972 in Udine (Italy). Since 2005 she has been working with Carlo Carletti and his studio Arte Fotografica based in Tuscany, Italy, shooting top target weddings and events worldwide. Michela has a strong aesthetic sense and a deep passion for photography which she has been practicing since 1997. Before becoming a professional photographer she graduated with a bachelors degree in foreign languages at the University of Venice and specialized in event management working in Toronto (Canada), London (UK) and Italy. She worked as Wedding & Event Designer for the top Italian destination wedding company. She was responsible for the event design, consulting and coordination of clients coming from all over the world to get married in the most beautiful and exclusive places in Italy. Photography is her chosen medium to observe and convey her vision of beauty. Her style is very instinctive, she captures the moments and emotions as they happen naturally where people’s true personalities show. In her photography she embraces the story that is taking place and expresses it through images that are full of energy and life. Often it is the unpredictable or the unusual that appeals to her creative sensibility. Besides photography Michela has a passion for the natural world and long distance running. She specializes also in Music Photography covering the big names of rock and the indie scene.
FRANCESCO MINUCCI
Francesco Minucci was born in 1974 in Tuscany (Italy) where he lives and works. He is a freelance photographer and visual artist working all over Italy and abroad. Since 2006 he cooperates with Carlo Carletti and dedicates himself to wedding photography as well as to an intense research in art photography. In 2005 he was the technical director at the ‘Toscana Fotofestival’ working alongside internationally renowned photographers of the most important agencies such as Magnum Photos and Contrasto. He attended the photographic school ‘Fondazione Studio Marangoni’, Florence and in 2001 he obtained the professional photography degree at C.F.P., San Colombano, Florence, Italy. His work has been exhibited at The Invisible Dog Art Center, New York, La Triennale, Milano, Palazzo della Permanente, Roma, MACRO Testaccio, Rome.

CESARE
Cesare was born in Maremma, Tuscany on 23th October 2006. He soon started his career as German Shepard puppy destroying all the furniture that was within reach in our studio. He has a real passion for chewing and getting into anything: chairs’ legs and armrests, plastic, paper, wood… But, he always gets away with everything. His colleagues at the studio just can’t resist his pitiful black eyes…
He is in charge of welcoming of visitors at the studio and of keeping peoples’ spirits high.
